Honda’s CBR1000RR came out in 2004 to give Honda a normal production 1000cc 4 cylinder sports bike. Bikes of that generation missed out on the benefits of slipper clutches however and we can now improve its corner entry performance and stability and combine that with more grip.
The clutch uses standard springs (preferably new) and the standard clutch pack. The clutch comes with a spacer that lets it fit both the early 2004/05 bikes and the later 2006/07 ones. The clutch provides all the normal slipper clutch benefits with better over-rev protection and improved chassis stability going into corners.
